Public bug reported:
It appears libdrm is uninstallable on all port archs on Jaunty except
armel according to ScottK on irc, which probably is the reason kdelibs4
(KDE 3) is uninstallable in chroots and is causing OOo 3.0.1 to FTBFS.
Thanks,
Chris Cheney

08:46 < calc> anyone know why kdelibs4-dev is not installable on most
architectures?
08:46 < calc> kdelibs4-dev is for kde 3 btw
08:47 < ScottK> Probably libdrm-dev not installable
08:48 < calc> ScottK: is that going to be fixed soon?
08:49 * ScottK looks at bryce
08:49 < calc> its breaking OOo so hopefully so ;-)
08:49 < ScottK> calc: When I looked at it, it seemed that libdrm-dev had a
versioned depends on a particular kernel version that wasn't
satisfied on any ports arch except armel.
08:50 < calc> well whatever is making kdelibs4-dev on all non amd64 arch is
anyway ;-)
08:50 < ScottK> If it's catching i386, then it may well be another problem too.
08:50 * ScottK looks into it.
08:50 < calc> well not sure about i386 its been held by stlport atm
08:53 < calc> Riddell: so the libdrm thing is why its not installable anywhere
for right now?
08:54 < ScottK> That's at least why KDE 4.2 FTBFS on everything except i386,
amd64, and armel.
08:54 * calc notes his connection may drop soon due to at&t working on the
line, its not that he just decided to leave, heh
08:54 < Riddell> calc: dunno, let me look
08:56 < calc> Riddell: ok
08:57 < Riddell> calc: apt is installing it here on my system and in a chroot
08:59 < calc> Riddell: yea according to scottk it should be failing on most
arch due to libdrm being uninstallable
08:59 < Riddell> libdrm-dev installs for me
08:59 < Riddell> on i386
09:00 < ScottK> Yeah, on i386 that's fine.
09:00 < ScottK> It's the non-armel ports archs
09:01 < calc> ScottK: is bryce already aware of the issue, i didn't see a bug
about it in LP
09:01 < ScottK> No idea.
09:01 < ScottK> It's been on my list to ask.
09:01 < calc> i'll file a bug with some of this log in it
