I'm not able to find a way to reproduce to error. Since I don't have hardware acceleration I cannot even start amoeba like stated in the bug 285298
[~] amoeba -windowed -nosound Couldn't open GTK+ interface (disabling because of command line options), reverting to command line. Unhandled exception: No direct rendering (hardware acceleration) available! (Check libGL.so.* symlinks) Yesterday evening it happened again. I was running -among the others- firefox, amsn, liferea, truecrypt, dropbox and awn. compiz is enabled but only few essential plugins are enabled. Uptime was 2d 2h more or less. I don't power off but suspend to ram instead. By now I've upgraded xserver-xorg-video-intel to version 2.5.1 from https://edge.launchpad.net/~intel-gfx-testing/+archive even if I haven't understood if there really is any difference with the previous one. I'll take the time to download and try the daily-live cd and maybe upgrade using this repository https://launchpad.net/~xorg- edgers/+archive/ppa -- [i915gm] Error in I830WaitLpRing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/321491 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
