These problems happen in Intrepid and Jaunty

The next sequence does NOT always happen, sometimes I get the same
results as problem 2 (appears to work but nothing)

in Nautilus I clicked GO then NETWORK ("storage-7988" shows in right pane )
this is when I clicked on "storage-7988" in right pane and 3 shared folders
appear in right pane
I click on one "barb" and in the left pane "barb on storage-7988" appears
