@8200, I think it would be best if you opened a new bug report regarding
this issue.  The reason is that you appear to use the iwl3945 driver and
the majority (including original bug reporter) use the iwlagn driver
here.  Based on the feedback, it appears linux-backports-modules
resolves the issue for those using the iwlagn driver.  I can follow up
with you at your new bug report.

For anyone else, it seems for those who have the iwlagn driver and after
installing linux-backports-modules this issue is now resovled.  Based on
that I'm going to mark this bug as Fix Released against linux-backports-
modules.  If anyone is still experiencing issues, if you could please
open a new bug report I'd be happy to follow up with you there.  Thanks.
