Do you still have this problem?
Grub error 17:
This error is returned if the partition requested exists, but the filesystem
type cannot be recognized by GRUB.
Be sure to check your root(x,y) settings in your /boot/grub/menu.lst
If you still have this problem please attach the following files:
- your /boot/grub/menu.lst
- your /etc/fstab
