I'm sorry, but I'm not about to update my workstation to a feisty distribution just yet. I wish I could help, but I can't in that way.
I tried updating that sole package, but he requires a different libc6 version, among other packages. So far, with the system dist-upgraded today, he keeps crashing nautilus when trying to thumbnail some .rm files. $ gst-typefind video.rm video.rm - application/vnd.rn-realmedia there is no gst-0.8 package in my system. Also, I had to disable apport because it was slowing my machine to a crawl, as well as the preview icons in nautilus, saving me from further crashes. (not that this concerns the reported bug) One last thing, Totem can't play those .rm files -- shows a grey image. $ totem video.rm ** Message: don't know how to handle audio/x-sipro, flavor=(int)0, rate=(int)8000, channels=(int)1, width=(int)16, leaf_size=(int)0, packet_size=(int)232, height=(int)6, codec_data=(buffer)00000000000000000069000000b8c114 Can I help in any other way? Maybe attaching to this Bug report another dump? 2006/12/13, Sebastian Dröge < [EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > Can you still reproduce this with 0.10.2 in latest feisty? > > ** Changed in: gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg (Ubuntu) > Status: Unconfirmed => Needs Info > > -- > thumbnailer crashes on Real Media file > https://launchpad.net/bugs/71316 > -- thumbnailer crashes on Real Media file https://launchpad.net/bugs/71316 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
