This bug report is being closed due to your last comment regarding this
being fixed by changing network settings using the method expected by
Network Manager. With regards to your question about making comet the
default connection, I believe this is addressed by bug 303068
(https://launchpad.net/bugs/303068). Please feel free to subscribe to
