I am quite perplexed by your frequent recommendations to upgrade an LTS
release to an unstable release. I just download 8.0.4 amd64 last week
and see the same problem. The reason I did not use 8.10 is I need
stability - isn't it obvious? Are'nt you folks forgetting your social
commitment to LTS release?
Please work on this bug as provide a fix for 8.0.4.2 as
current system is Linux owl 2.6.24-23-generic #1 SMP Mon Jan 26 01:04:16
UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
The problem devices in my case are the SD/MMC card readers in my Dell
2408WFP monitor. Attaching lspci output.
