Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: inkscape

This appears to be 100% reproducible on Edgy.

$ apt-cache policy inkscape
inkscape:
  Installed: 0.44-1ubuntu2
  Candidate: 0.44-1ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 0.44-1ubuntu2 0
        500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com edgy/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Steps to reproduce:
* Open inkscape
* Click on the connector tool
* Add a single connector line
* Left Click one end handle.
* While still holding the left button, start to drag the handle.
* While still holding the left button, summon the context menu with the right
button.
* Let the left button go over the "undo" item on the context menu.
* Now note - the left button has been let up, but you still have a rubber
banding handle active.
* Right click to summon the context menu again
* Left click on Undo
* Inkscape will now crash with the following dialog message (or similar):

  Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now.
  Automatic backups of unsaved documents were done to the following locations:
          New document 1.2006_12_15_15_10_57.0

Testing this on another computer also running Edgy yields that the
number of times you will need to summon and click undo may vary, but
after a couple of times, it *will* crash.

** Affects: inkscape (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
