Public bug reported:
Hi,
I try to enable some plugins in gedit (using Edit -> Preferences ->
Plugins -> External Tools) and they become greyed out, and I get the
following messages in the terminal I started gedit in:
fro...@frohro-d600:/usr/lib/gedit-2$ gedit
ImportError: could not import gtksourceview
** (gedit:14568): WARNING **: Error initializing Python interpreter:
could not import pygtksourceview.
** (gedit:14568): WARNING **: Please check the installation of all the
Python related packages required by gedit and try again.
** (gedit:14568): WARNING **: Cannot load Python plugin 'External Tools'
since gedit was not able to initialize the Python interpreter.
** (gedit:14568): CRITICAL **: gedit_python_module_load: assertion
`Py_IsInitialized ()' failed
** (gedit:14568): WARNING **: Cannot load plugin 'externaltools' since
file '/usr/lib/gedit-2/plugins' cannot be read.
** (gedit:14568): WARNING **: Error activating plugin 'External Tools'
^C
fro...@frohro-d600:/usr/lib/gedit-2$
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rob
