Thomas, thank you for the updated patch. I am sorry to say, but it still does not fix the problem. The crash is indeed gone, so that is good. A backup db file is created, that is good, too. But the ingredient key editor is still empty. IOW, the real problem is still unfixed.
Sorry -- I only just now realized what you meant by this (since I just now have gotten around to fixing this in the unstable branch -- fix still unreleased). The ingredient key editor is broken in unstable, that's not related to this bug at all. It will be empty in every unstable released version so far.
