Adding the line: options snd-hda-intel model=hippo
to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base Should fix this problem for many people having this problem. If not then you could try a different model. Executing the following command in a terminal will append the above mentioned line to the end of the /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base configuration file. sudo echo "options snd-hda-intel model=hippo" >> /etc/modprobe.d/alsa- base -- No sound from speakers in Feisty 7.04 - headphones OK https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/74677 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
