I would add that this bugs affects me too. I first wondered why there where such messages when I run glxgears : "IRQ's not enabled, falling back to busy waits: 0 16" and why the framerate was so low : 302 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.332 FPS 295 frames in 5.0 seconds = 58.756 FPS
Then I discovered this thread and I must admit that the fullscreen videos from Youtube are also slow on my ATI All In Wonder 9800 Pro. I handled this problem by using the Compiz Zoom option. But it's not really the good way to resolve it, is it ? There is my xorg.conf for my system (Intrepid Ibex, migrated from Hardy Heron) Thanks in advance for looking into this bug. ** Attachment added: "xorg.conf" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/21961499/xorg.conf -- [RV280 Radeon 9200] Videos have very slow frame rate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291480 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
