Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: hal-info
The HP Compaq 6730b needs similar Hotkey data to the 6730s, already
listed in /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/30-keymap-hp.fdi:
<match
key="/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer:system.hardware.product"
contains="6730b">
<!-- HP Compaq 6730b -->
<append key="input.keymap.data"
type="strlist">e012:brightnessdown</append> <!-- FnF9 (brightness down) -->
<append key="input.keymap.data"
type="strlist">e017:brightnessup</append> <!-- FnF10 (brightness up) -->
</match>
I'd have suggested matching the two together, perhaps dropping the "b"
and "s" suffixes from the match rule, but I note that on my keyboard,
the function keys are FnF9 and FnF10, not the same as the comments
listed in the 6730s match. Not sure if that is a mistake or not, or if
it really matters
** Affects: hal-info (Ubuntu)
