My OS is Ubuntu 8.10 AMD64 Desktop, fully patched.
When playing an MKV file with multiple audio tracks - the default audio
track will play fine. However, if you attempt to switch to an alternate
audio track, totem completely stops playing all sound. If you switch
back to the original audio track, still no sound will play. Restarting
totem will cause audio to start again, however attempting to switch the
audio track results in the same problem.
I have tested this with 25+ MKV files from different sources.
I do not experience this problem when viewing these files in VLC under Ubuntu
8.10.
I do not experience this problem when viewing these files in VLC under Windows
XP.
I do not experience this problem when viewing these files in WMP under Windows
XP.
