I confirm this bug on Intrepid, with the same laptop model.
I don't know about Jaunty, in any case I'm not allowed to try any unstable
release on this notebook.
I hope someone is working on a fix, as this bug makes Intrepid nearly unusable
and we cannot wait three months for the next official release.
