Pedro, i try doing debugging the application. I not doing this task, because when I beginning debugging the Pidgin application, my screen reader (orca) not talking this task. You try this task your machine? Try following: 1. If you not setting any account, set msn account. 2. Try write one message with Pidggin any contact. If you luke, the Pidgin is crash after sending the message.
I tryed debugging pidgin with --debug option. I sending two attachment: 1. pidgin-debug.txt: the debugging output with --debug option. 2. gdb-pidgin: I hope have any useful information with gdb-debugging. I doing totaly blind because screen reader not talking. :-):-) Have another method to send the needed information with you?
