Yes, this alpha runs on my 64-bit Intrepid machines far better than did
the long-standing 0.7.10 version, but at least for me, it certainly does
not work at all well, as preview and source view modes are so broken
/bug-ridden as to be either completely or effectively unusable.

It does, however, allow me to attempt the basic functions that would
cause its predecessor to crash. I can now insert images, for instance,
although as I say, those images remain invisible, even in "preview"
mode, which seems to be completely broken.

I'm glad to see the project is still alive though, and thank the
developer for his continuing efforts.
