I have located the root cause of this issue, having compiled recently the qt-console for bacula, but I'm not certain the bug is one that belongs to this particular package.
I experienced the exact same error as Chris Howells. I noted in his original post that he said that he was missing libqwt.so, which is correct because the dev package does not provide that file, it provides /usr/lib/libqwt-qt4.so as Bary deFresse mentioned. What I did to be able to compile bacula was simply create a soft link from /usr/lib/libqwt-qt4.so to libqwt.so. Should this soft link be created in the dev package of libqwt? Is this an issue with the bacula build script? I have not investigated that aspect. I experienced this issue with the latest bacula at this time, 2.4.4 -- qwt5 packages do not provide libqwt.so https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/141587 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
