I spoke too soon. There was an right offset on the screen, suggesting that the restricted display driver (180.27) was not being used. I re-installed the driver via System-Hardware Drivers. When installing it was suggested by the Hardware Driver that the Nvidia driver that I was using was a different version. As soon as I re-install this the problem starts all over again. It seems there is a conflict between the latest updates and the Nvidia 180.27 driver. I'll have to put up with the display offset (no Nvidia restricted driver) until this is fixed.
