Thanks for reporting this bug. I am using Xubuntu Jaunty 9.04 with all
updates as of 2009-02-07. I used the file given and saved it to a .pdf
in AbiWord. The resulting file opened in evince document viewer as
expected, with out the distorted font.
I have only the English language files loaded and in use. Perhaps you
have a different language package loaded?
Is this still an issue?
