Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
I just purchased an Acer eMachine 520-2496 initially loaded with Linpus,
but I loaded Ubuntu 8.10 on the entire hard drive. Everything works
great including Ethernet Internet, but I can not get the wireless system
to work. When I try to load Network Manager it shows in the installed
applications, but not in; System. Administration. I does show that a
Ubuntu driver is loaded and active in: System, Administration, Hardware
Drivers. I have read the forums and can not figure out how to get it to
work on wireless.
