I still have this issue on up-to-date 8.10. Here are the logs attached earlier. Not sure what I'm supposed to get from dbus-monitor whilst suspending - I see the following, but nothing extra when I do a suspend:
s...@teresa-laptop:~$ dbus-monitor --session "type='signal',interface='org.freedesktop.PowerManagement'" signal sender=org.freedesktop.DBus -> dest=:1.105 path=/org/freedesktop/DBus; interface=org.freedesktop.DBus; member=NameAcquired string ":1.105" ^C s...@teresa-laptop:~$ dbus-monitor --session "type='signal',interface='org.freedesktop.PowerManagement.Backlight'" signal sender=org.freedesktop.DBus -> dest=:1.116 path=/org/freedesktop/DBus; interface=org.freedesktop.DBus; member=NameAcquired string ":1.116" ^C ** Attachment added: "gnome-power-bugreport.sh.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/22197541/gnome-power-bugreport.sh.txt -- fail to sleep when lid is closed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/37626 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
