Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 8.10 and derivatives all 'hang' for several minutes on all my rigs in
LiveCD sessions, upon competion of install or then after installation, with
only Networking disabling or installation of the Robb Topolski CLI patch
seeming to solve that problem, WHICH IS NO LONGER a problem in a LiveCD session
of the Alpha4 release of Jaunty, perhaps due to its use of a newer, different
kernel, so I thought you might like to read a good news report !
(It's early days, but the graphics 'Screen Resolution' changes also seem
slicker and more reliable.)

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
