Binary package hint: openoffice.org
If I scroll the mouse through the menus quickly, I can briefly see the
words for the menus, but not much. I've used the program before without
this problem. It must have happened when I updated the machine. I'm
using ver. 2.4.1 on Ubuntu 8.10. I will try to upgrade to the newest
open office to see if it fixes the problem. I can still type and use
the program normally, but I just can't see the menu options (or the
words that come up on the buttons in the dialog boxes).
