I was having this problem and I'm pretty sure it was just lack of space on /boot. I'm running software RAID so I had to put my /boot on a separate partition and I'm afraid I made it a little too small (only 92mb). I had about 40% free, but it still wasn't able to update properly. For those of you having this problem, please post a `df -h` and confirm the amount of free space you have on /boot.
Does anyone know if there's a setting somewhere that would tell apt to only keep a certain number of kernels? -- package linux-image-2.6.27-11-generic 2.6.27-11.23 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/315122 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
