I'm running an emachines m6810 laptop and I have this same issue on Ubuntu 8.10 with the latest 2.6.27-11-generic kernel. When I suspend, the machine goes down into suspend mode and my power button blinks. When I press the power button to turn it back on, the light stops blinking and turns a solid blue, but the machine never comes back to life.
I've attached a file with the output of the following commands: $ uname -a Linux emachines 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Thu Jan 29 19:24:39 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux $ sudo lspci -vv > kerndebug.txt $ sudo lspci -vvn >> kerndebug.txt $ sudo dmidecode >> kerndebug.txt I will try with the latest Jaunty alpha live cd and report back with my findings. ** Attachment added: "kerndebug.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/22339647/kerndebug.txt -- Won't return from suspend on emachines M6810 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/103719 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
