Public bug reported:
kwin /plasma crash with any package where a screen resize is done or a
new screen is opened. Tested in Kontact and Firefox. Both crash with
screen resize and firefox also crashes randomly when button to open link
is clicked.
Kubuntu 9.04 with KDE 4.2 on AMD 64 Nvidia box with driver nvidia 180 driver.
Kernel : 2.6.27.11 generic
Started to happen after changes /updates on 2 Feb 09
Freezes screen and needs reboot to resume.
One of many crashes says kwin crashed with siggev.
pressing alt-f2 has no effect and requires reboot to fix.
