network manager is unlikely to get support for /etc/ppp/peers
connections. instead mobile broadband and pppoe are already provided in
NM 0.7; plain modem might happen if there are contributors for code
upstream; but given that modems are hopefully go away I wouldnt hold my
breath for that.
