I followed Igor's procedure, and got a bit further with my ubuntu 8.10 / Lenovo
T61p / Plantronics P590 combination.
hcitool scan

I could even hear some wav sounds with aplay ... sometimes:
aplay -Dplug:bluetooth /usr/share/sounds/k3b_error1.wav

==> yes, but one second later

It still doesnt look like i have a fully useable "device" around. Neither kmix
nor audio setup or any
other utility seems to be willing to accept my headset.
Any idea what is missing?
