Public bug reported: USB speakers work on some some and not other applications depending on what device they're configured to outputs sound too. Getting USB speakers to work in all applications is possible* but takes some tweaking. It should probably work out of the box as hardly anyone can be expected to figure out how to fix the problem themselves.
