Thank you for this bug report. Firefox-3.0 cannot by itself view flash videos. You need to install a flash player. Flash Player 10 is available to use for viewing flash videos and works quite well. To install it go System->Administration->Software Sources->Third-Party Software and the enable the partner repository. After this is done install the package adobe-flashplugin. You will then have to restart Firefox.
Now, if you have already installed a flash player, what package did you install to view flash? Do you know what version it is?
