If you can, please download and run http://alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh
with the --no-upload option:
./alsa-info.sh --no-upload
Then attach the resulting alsa-info.txt file to this bug report.
Additionally, just curious if you've tested the more recent Intrepid
Ibex 8.10 release and if the issue remains? You should be able to test
via a LiveCD. Thanks.
