This relates to Ubun tu 8.10 (64-Bit) fully updated on a MacBook Pro
rev. 3. Sound has not been a problem with Ubuntu 8.10 in the past as far
as this machine is concerned, but since some recent update, there is no
sound (tested with Amarok and Mozilla).
Please specify which additional information you need if any.
This bug is CRITICAL and it has to be solved URGENTLY.
