Hello,
I discovered Inkscape as a replacement of Illustrator.
The most important thing I need in my work is related to vector drawings and
it's particulary efficient with the Bezier tool.
Now, I have some suggestions for the wishlist concerning the Bezier Tool.
- Often, when I'm proceeding the cut-off or outline of a picture with the
Bezier Tool, I'm working with a high level of zoom (400 % at least).
In this way, the several points are precisely positioned. But as sort to draw
on the entire picture, I have to move through it. For this, I have to use the
arrows right and left with shift. I usually used the space bar with the left
mouse clic and in this way, I moved quickly on the picture. The current way
advised to move with Inskcape is really not intuitive.
- I can't modify one of the controls as I'm drawing. Sometimes, my point
need to be changed but only with one of the grips and during the
drawing, not after. Currently, I need to finish my outline and to resume
it after. That's not very convenient.
- A last thing, when I'm drawing, by default, the colors are set for the
filling and stroke. But the palette color has to be opened each time to
specify I don't need any fill. Wouldn't it be possible to put a color
palette directly within the tool box ?
