I have just tested Alsa 1.0.18a with a fedora 11 live CD. I was particularly interested by this fix (included in 1.0.18a) : http://git.alsa-project.org/?p=alsa-kmirror.git;a=commit;h=2cc442715c45c88016c3c1c68e8828683d1b186a Thanks to this fix all people with Realtek ALC268 can enjoy their digital mics (integrated in their laptop).
This digital mic problem is the last thing that doesn't work with Realtek ALC268 codecs.
