Well: - open f-spot (obviously I suppose that you have many photos so f-spot cannot show them all in one page) - select a photo (it's better that you select a photo that is not in the first f-spot "page") - close f-spot - re-open f-spot - if you are "lucky" you will see that f-spot doesn't open the first photo page or the last photo page in which there was the photo you previously selected, but it places itself in one of the next photo pages - if you aren't lucky re-try always selecting a different photo
