Public bug reported:
hi. i just installed alpha 4 of jaunty and selected dvorak as my keymap
during the installation process and rebooted when the installation
completed. dvorak is now set as default under X, but in a virtual
terminal, the keymap is US.
the problem may be that when i run the following on my intrepid
partition
sudo grep -R "dvorak" /oldroot/etc/.
i get (among others) these lines:
./vga/libvga.config:# kbd_keymap /etc/vga/dvorak-us.keymap
./vga/dvorak-us.keymap:# Physical keyboard layout:
/usr/lib/kbd/keytables/dvorak.map.gz
but they are missing when i do the same in jaunty.
