Binary package hint: pulseaudio
When ubuntu boots from a Live environment the "ubuntu jingle" is jittery
and bad, like a poor radio transmission. Playback of mp3s etc works just
fine, but all system sounds are terrible. I guess this is a pulseaudio
issue.
My soundcard is (lspci):
00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM
(ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 01)
Please let me know if you need more information on this bug. I am
currently using Jaunty Alpha 4.
