Same behaviour for me. Updated from 2.6.27-9 to 2.6.27-11 and the X-Fi
driver is missing. Would like to hear whether there's a better solution
than attempting to reinstall the drivers.

Ubuntu 8.10, AMD 4400+ (s939), 8800GT, X-Fi ExtremeMusic, 2Gb DDR400

Linux clem-ubuntu 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Thu Jan 29 19:24:39 UTC 2009
