Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The man page describes the behavior of /bin/pwd, but you
are calling the shell built-in command pwd. The two commands accepts
different parameters, type "help pwd" to get more information about the
built-in command.
I'm marking this as invalid since it's not a bug.
