I have the latest updated firefox from intrepid. User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009020911 Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.6
I have 4GB of RAM and 2GB of swap, and this occurs when nearly all of RAM is free and swap is at 0 used. This is pretty much a plain install of intrepid x86_64. I use aptitude for package management, and I installed mozilla-plugin-gnash, and it grabbed the rest (which I dearly hope would include the libs required for youtube, if any). Could I be missing some package? You noted similarity to bug #123706. While my setup and that report have little in common (different ubuntu, different architecture, different gnash), I also can't play any of the videos from that bug, so it might be the same. I believe that taking a fresh, updated install of intrepid x86_64 and installing mozilla-plugin-gnash would give you the same behavior as I'm seeing. -- Youtube videos do not play https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/327901 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
