Binary package hint: network-manager
I've got a Dell Latitude D820 with an Intel wireless card (Intel
Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection (rev 02)).
Back with Hardy Heron, the Wifi status light on the laptop case would
flash on and off while it was searching/connecting to a wireless
network, but would then go solid when it established a connection. Since
upgrading to Intrepid, the indicator light no longer stops flashing once
I'm connected.
