i downloaded the 57M file.
i can confirm the rendering issues at 8:58 in the video, with totem
(2.24.3-0ubuntu1), vlc (0.9.4-1ubuntu3) and mplayer.
I have also tested rendering the file in a Windows XP machine, with
exactly the same artifacts.
This is not a software bug, the video file is corrupt. Closing as
invalid
