Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: davfs2

My university has a e-learning platform that can be accessed using
webdav(s).

The URL is https://elearning.hslu.ch/ilias/webdav.php/hslu/ILIAS
or in this case davs://elearning.hslu.ch/ilias/webdav.php/hslu/ILIAS
(authentication required)

First I want to admit that it works fine on Windows and Firefox 3.

When I connect to that server using Nautilus there seem to problems with
special characters (blanks, '&', etc.). First of all those folders are
being displayed wrong. Means Nautilus shows them encoded. F.e. %20 for
the blank. Another issue is that all the files and (sub)folders name is
the whole path. Please see the attached screenshot for better
understanding.

One more thing is the link to the mount point that appears on the
desktop and in the nautilus sidebar. The link points the base name of
the URL. In this case to davs://elearning.hslu.ch/ instead of
davs://elearning.hslu.ch/ilias/webdav.php/hslu/ILIAS .

** Affects: davfs2 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
