Since you've commented that this particular issue seems to be resolved
with Jaunty I'm marking the actively developed "linux (Ubuntu)" task as
Fix Released. I will open an Intrepid nomination to reflect that this
is still an issue with Intrepid. However, finding and providing a patch
to backport as a Stable Release Update (SRU) may prove to be difficult,
especially without the output of the panic you are seeing. Thanks.
