Could you please collect a full backtrace - see
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Backtracing for directions.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

After updating to Gutsy, Tremulous (1st person shooter game in universe)
  causes an immediate X crash.

The people I've talked to from the tremulous community swear that it's
something with my configuration, although they can't suggest anything in
particular. Notably, glxinfo shows "Direct Rendering: yes", glxgears
  works fine, etc.
