Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz
My symptoms are similar to the old bug 139145. Since sometime in Jaunty, my "Run a terminal" shortcut (currently F7) simply doesn't work. The keystroke is passed through to the focused application. I've tried changing the key binding, with no effect. If I switch to metacity with metacity --replace, it works fine.
