Good points. .po files are shipped with Sugar activities on the OLPC XO, in the theoretical hope that "teh childrenz!!1!" will be able to fix bad translations themselves and that some peer-to-peer translation distribution mechanism would be developed. That's definitely out of scope for Ubuntu, so I'll remove the po files.
