Hi Marcus! How did you managed to get a new drive? The laptop is sold with vista, is it affected by the bug? If there is a bug with vista, can you give me details to send to Asus (I've dropped Vista, and don't like to reinstall it...) If not, how can you use warranty for an OS not supported? Did you send your laptop or just the drive?
